The pirate action figures brought out a happy squeal and are much loved by my four year old great nephew. I found him alone in the dining room enjoying his new Christmas gift. He of course tried to make them ride a motorcycle like vehicle. These are not intended to straddle an object – but note that you can pop the legs back on easily. Boys will be boys 🙂

If you want to mix and match legs and arms this set of pirate action figures won??t disappoint! Legs and arms detach easily, appendages everywhere turns my kids play area into ground 0. And like true drunken pirates none can stand upright. Not the best quality toy set out there but definitely comes close to depicting the true life of a pirate.

Are the swords interchangeable? Or are they attached to the specific pirate the come with?
Answer: Almost everything is interchangeable. Even legs and heads….We switched out legs and heads to create the exact pirate we wanted.

My 4 y.o. gs is obsessed with gilbert & sullivan’s pirates of penzance….we need a “ruth” & general’s daughters. got any females?
Answer: No they do not. And depending on the age and how hard your child will play with them, I wouldn??t recommend them for anyone under 10. They??re very flimsy and fall apart. (They??re comparable to dollar a tree toy)
