We bought this for our five year old who loves transformers but has trouble actually transforming the toys meant for older kids. The 6 step instructions were right on the box and he was able to quickly figure it out on his own. He loves this toy!

So far it seems to be pretty well built and stands up to his and a three year old??s play. The head did pop off when he decided to send it down a pretty big slide but it went right back on.

I didn’t expect it to be made of metal or anything, but boy is this thing a piece of junk. Not worth $25. Probably more of a $10 item that I would expect at a dollar store. The design doesn’t even remotely resemble the original Optimus Prime truck when transformed – it barely resembles a truck. It is more or less just a folded up robot. The wheels barely spin when you drive it. Don’t waste your money. This is when I miss Toys’R Us to see it before you buy it.

Answer: About 12 inches tall

How large is this optimus prime?and is it too difficult for a 7 year old to transform? His favorite is optimus
Answer: I bought this for my 5 year old and he was able to transform this ery easily. Very good toy still intact after 1 year

how heavy is this unit?
Answer: Sent it to another city for grandson’s 7th b’day. When I had it in the box, didn’t seem particularly heavy.

Do the knees bend?
Answer: Unfortunately they do not

How does the final step work to transforming it from Optimus to the truck? I can’t get the front cab to shift down so it’s level with the rear wheels

My son helped me with the step by step. Put the head back. Put the fists back and straight. Rotate the top portion of his body around 180′. Snap the legs together. Push his middle into the rest of his body. and bend his body portion perpendicular to his top portion. Then swing his arms in over his legs and snap them do??
